Notice of Disciplinary Sanction on Examination Cheating by Students

JADOON SARMAD KHAN and MUZAFFAR IQBAL

2024级留学生JADOON SARMAD KHAN（学号：2024L50111）、MUZAFFAR IQBAL（学号：2024L50100），于病理学－1闭卷考试过程中，违规携带手机进入考场，擅自拍摄试卷试题，借助人工智能工具检索考试答案，并将试题照片及参考答案发布至班级微信群International students of Grade 2024，JADOON SARMAD KHAN（Student ID：2024L50111）and MUZAFFAR IQBAL（Student ID：2024L50100），violated examination rules during the closed－book exam of Pathology－They illegally carried mobile phones into the examination room，took photos of the exam papers without authorization，searched for exam answers via artificial intelligence tools，and shared the paper photos and answers in the class WeChat group.

该两名同学的行为严重违反考场纪律，肆意破坏考试公平公正，严重扰乱学校正常教学考核秩序，在学生群体中造成极其恶劣的负面影响，情节严重Their behaviors have seriously violated examination discipline，undermined the fairness and impartiality of examinations，disturbed the normal teaching and assessment order of the university，and caused an extremely adverse impact among students with serious circumstances.

依据《长江大学学生违纪处分办法》相关规定，经学院研究决定，对两名同学作出如下处分In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Measures for Disciplinary Penalties for Students of Yangtze University，the college has studied and decided to impose the following penalties on the two students：

一、两名同学本次病理学－1课程考试成绩记零分，取消补考资格，必须重修该课程The scores of the Pathology－1 exam of the two students are recorded as zero. They are disqualified from the make－up exam and required to retake the course.

二、给予两名同学留校察看纪律处分，处分记入个人学籍档案The two students are given the disciplinary penalty of Probation in School，which will be recorded in their personal student status files。

三、责令两名同学限期提交中英文书面深刻检讨，主动深刻反省自身错误The two students are ordered to submit in－depth written self－criticisms in both Chinese and English within a time limit to reflect on their mistakes thoroughly.

自本处分下达之日起，二人若再次出现任何违反校规或者违法行为，学校将据校规予以开除学籍处理，并上报出入境管理部门，注销其来华居留许可与签证，限期离境Upon the issuance of this disciplinary sanction, should either of the two students commit any further acts in violation of university regulations or laws, the university shall impose the sanction of expulsion from school in accordance with university rules. The matter shall be reported to the exitentry administrative authority, which will handle the cancellation of their Chinese residence permits and visas as well as departurerelated requirements in accordance with law.

希望全体留学生引以为戒，高度重视考风考纪，严格遵守学校各项规章制度，恪守学术诚信，自觉抵制违纪作弊行为。今后凡出现各类考试违纪作弊行为，学院一律依规从重从严处理，绝不姑息All international students shall take this as a warning，attach great importance to examination discipline，strictly abide by all university rules and regulations，adhere to academic integrity，and consciously resist irregularities and cheating behaviors. In the future，all acts of examination cheating and discipline violations will be severely punished by the college in accordance with regulations without leniency.
